Michael Waxman is executive producer/director on Dick Wolf's "Chicago Med." He has been with the show since its inception in 2015. Prior to this, he worked as the producer/director on ABC's "Nashville" and the award winning NBC series "Friday Night Lights."
Waxman began his career as a production assistant in New York City, working on commercials, documentaries and feature films. After becoming a member of the Director's Guild of America, he worked as an assistant director on films such as "When Harry Met Sally," "Rudy," "Heat" and the Academy Award nominated "The Insider."
He has two daughters, Anna and Molly. When not shooting in Chicago, Waxman lives on his ranch outside of Austin, Texas with his wife Linda.
