Template:Location infobox The Silos is a place where Voight used to take bad guys to threaten them and run them out of town. He did make one exception though, he shot his son Justin's killer there in the season 3 finale Start Digging, which eventually cost detective Olinsky his life.
The 15-story grain silos, 2860 S. Damen Ave., have been useless since a 1977 explosion. They were built in 1906 by the Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad, and they had capacity for 400,000 bushels of grain.
